Application Note:
Suggested starting ranges are 1:10-1:50 for IF and 1:20-1:200 for ELISA
Specificity:
Reactive with C. albicans (10 strains), C. parapsillosis, C. glabrata, C. tropicales & C. auris. Negative for C. krusei. Extraction of specimen with 0.4M NaOH required for optimum sensitivity. Non-reactive with: Aspergillus species (4), Coccidioides, Histoplasma, Blastomyces, Paracoccidioides, Penicillium notatum, Mucor, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, and Pichia pastoris.
Purification:
Candida albicans antibody is purified from culture medium by protein A chromatography or sequential differential precipitations.
