Immunoprecipitation of FXR1 from 1000 µg extracts of Mouse brain was performed using 2 µg of FXR1 Rabbit mAb. Rabbit IgG isotype control was used to precipitate the Control IgG sample. IP samples were eluted with 1X reducing Laemmli Buffer. The Input lane represents 10% of the total input. Western blot analysis of immunoprecipitates was conducted using FXR1 Rabbit mAb at a dilution of 1:1000.

Background:
The protein encoded by this gene is an RNA binding protein that interacts with the functionally-similar proteins FMR1 and FXR2. These proteins shuttle between the nucleus and cytoplasm and associate with polyribosomes, predominantly with the 60S ribosomal subunit. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
