Biological Activity:
1.Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Mouse TNF-alpha Protein at 0.5 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Mouse TNFR1 with a linear range of 0.06-15.7 ng/mL.
2.Measured by its ability to inhibit the TNFα-mediated cytotoxicity in the L-929 mouse fibroblast cells in the presence of the metabolic inhibitor actinomycin D. The ED50 for this effect is typically 75-300 ng/mL in the presence of 0.1 ng/mL of recombinant mouse TNF-α.
