Background:
FUNCTION: In complex with NARG1, displays α (N-terminal) acetyltransferase activity. Without NARG1, displays ε (internal) acetyltransferase activity towards HIF1A, thereby promoting its degradation.

CATALYTIC ACTIVITY: Acetyl-CoA + peptide = CoA + N(α)-acetylpeptide.

SUBUNIT: Interacts with HIF1A (By similarity). Interacts with NARG1 and with the ribosome.
