Application Note:
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:64000.Western Blot:Preliminary experiments gave an approx 80kDa band in human brain lysates at 0.5ug/ml, this band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunising peptide. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the predicted size of approx. 72kDda according to NP_060693.Immunohistochemistry:In paraffin embedded Human Brain (Cerebellum) shows stained Purkinje cells. Recommended concentration: 2.5ug/ml.
Specificity:
This antibody is expected to recognise all reported isoforms.
Positive Control 1:
Cat. No. 1362 - Human Cerebellum, Left Lysate
Cat. No. 1363 - Human Cerebellum, Right Lysate
Purification:
Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
