Background:
RC48 (disitamab vedotin) indication is HER2-positive locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma. RC48 is the first antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) to enter clinical research in China. ADC are made up of monoclonal antibodies, linkers and toxins, which can precisely attack cancer cells like precision-guided missiles. RC48 targets the HER2 protein on the surface of tumors and can accurately identify and bind to cancer cells, penetrate the cell membrane into its interior, and kill cancer cells.
