Background:
Epidermal growth factor receptor (erythroblastic leukemia viral (v-erb-b) oncogene homolog, avian); ERBB. Epidermal growth factor receptor, a 1,210-amino acid sequence of the human epidermal growth factor (EGF) receptor precursor, reveals close similarity between the entire predicted v-erb-B mRNA oncogene product and the receptor transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains.
