Biological Activity:
Induces apoptosis of human Jurkat T cells at a concentration of <1ng/ml in the presence of 0.1 to 1ug/ml TNF Ligands Enhancer (Prod. No. AG-35B-0001). In the absence of TNF Ligands Enhancer, FasL is working at 50-100 fold higher concentrations.

>95% (SDS-PAGE).

Endotoxin level is less than 0.05EU/ μg purified protein (LAL test; Lonza).

Background:
FasL is a cytokine that binds to TNFRSF6/Fas, a receptor that transduces the apoptotic signal into cells. Is involved in cytotoxic T cell mediated apoptosis and in T cell development.
