To a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100ul/well), a concentration of 4.0-8.0 ug/ml of this antibody will detect at least 32 pg/ml of recombinant murine IL-2 when used with ProSci's biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-murine IL-2 (XP-5183Bt) as the detection antibody at a concentration of at least 1.0-2.0 ug/ml.
To detect mIL-2 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 2.0-4.0 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant mIL-2 is 1.0-2.0 ng/lane, under reducing conditions and 0.2-0.4 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions.
