Immunoprecipitation analysis of 300 μg extracts of U-87MG cells using 3 μg Integrin beta 3 (ITGB3/CD61) antibody. Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using Integrin beta 3 (ITGB3/CD61) antibody at a dilution of 1:1000.
Flow cytometry:1X10^6 U-937 cells (negative control,left) and HEL cells (right) were intracellularly-stained with Integrin beta 3 (ITGB3/CD61) Rabbit mAb or Rabbit IgG isotype control,followed by FITC conjugated goat anti-rabbit pAb(1:200 dilution) staining. Non-fluorescently stained cells were used as blank control (red line).

Background:
The ITGB3 protein product is the integrin beta chain beta 3. Integrins are integral cell-surface proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. A given chain may combine with multiple partners resulting in different integrins. Integrin beta 3 is found along with the alpha IIb chain in platelets. Integrins are known to participate in cell adhesion as well as cell-surface mediated signalling.
