Background:
FUNCTION: Integrin α-3/β-1 is a receptor for fibronectin, laminin, collagen, epiligrin, thrombospondin and CSPG4. α-3/β-1 may mediate with LGALS3 the stimulation by CSPG4 of endothelial cells migration.

SUBUNIT: Heterodimer of an α and a β subunit. The α subunit is composed of an heavy and a light chain linked by a disulfide bond. α-3 associates with β-1. Interacts with HPS5.
