Immunogen:
The immunogen for this antibody is: C-ESTDALSLPHVKLK
Conjugate:
Unconjugated
Tested Applications:
ELISA
Application Note:
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:64000.Western Blot:Preliminary experiments gave an approx. 22kDa band in Human Brain (Hippocampus and Cerebral Cortex) and Human Skeletal Muscle lysates after 0.3 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 102kDa according to NP_062816.2. The 22kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported?
Specificity:
This antibody is expected to cross-react with isoform 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 (NP_062816.2; NP_001153602.1; NP_001153604.1; NP_1153605.1; NP_001153606.1).
Purification:
Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
