Application Note:
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:128000.Western Blot:Approx 75kDa band observed in Mouse Brain lysates and in preliminary testing of Mouse Testes lysate (calculated MW of 70.8kDa according to NP_001129547.1). Recommended concentration: 1-2µg/ml. Primary incubation 1 hour at room temperature.Immunofluorescence: Strong expression of the protein seen in the cell junctions of A431 and in the cytoplasm of NIH3T3 cells. Recommended concentration: 10ug/ml.
Specificity:
This antibody is expected to recognize all reported isoforms (NP_001005743.1, 001005744.1, NP_003735, NP_001005745.1). It is also likely to cross-react with Numblike (NUMBL, GeneID: 9253) which has a very similar C-Terminus, although this has not yet been tested experimentally.
