Tested Applications:
ELISA, IP, WB
Application Note:
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32000.Western Blot:Approx 75kDa band observed in HeLa lysates (calculated MW of 75kDa according to NP_079120). Recommended concentration: 1-3ug/ml. Primary incubation was 1 hour. This antibody has been successfully used in WB on Human: Toda E et al, J Immunol. 2009 Nov 15;183(10):6387-94. PMID: 19841162.Immunoprecipitation: This antibody was successfully used in IP on Human: Toda E et al, J Immunol. 2009 Nov 15;183(10):6387-94. PMID: 19841162.
Specificity:
Please note that, in contrast to other anti-Pericentrin antibodies available, this ab is NOT expected to recognize Kendrin (also known as Pericentrin 2). This may explain why it recognizes a 75KDa band (the expected size according to NP_079120) and not a 220kDa band (as reported for other anti-pericentrin antibodies).
