Background:

Pozelimab is research-based, fully human monoclonal antibody, invented using Regeneron's proprietary VelocImmune technology, which aims to block the complement signaling pathway by binding to complement factor C5. It also prevents the destruction (hemolysis) of red blood cells that cause paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria and other disease symptoms.
