FUNCTION: PPIases accelerate the folding of proteins. It catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides. Combines RNA-binding and PPIase activities. May be involved in muscle- and brain-specific processes.

CATALYTIC ACTIVITY: Peptidylproline (omega=180) = peptidylproline (omega=0).

SIMILARITY: Contains 1 RRM (RNA recognition motif) domain.

SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Nuclear.
