Background:
This gene is involved in transcriptional coactivation bysteroid receptors. There is currently data suggesting this geneencodes both a non-coding RNA that functions as part of aribonucleoprotein complex and a protein coding mRNA. Increasedexpression of both the transcript and the protein is associatedwith cancer.
