Unconjugated
Tested Applications:
ELISA, IHC
Application Note:
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32000.Western Blot:Preliminary experiments gave an approx 18kDa band in Human Brain lysates after 1ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 56.3kDa according to NP_848018.1 and 35.8kDa according to NP_777568.1. The 18kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported?Immunohistochemistry:In paraffin embedded Human Pancreas shows strong staining in cytoplasm in select acinar cells. Recommended concentration, 5-10ug/ml.
Specificity:
This antibody is expected to recognise both reported isoforms of human Ymer protein.
Positive Control 1:
Cat. No. 1307 - Human Pancreas Tissue Lysate
Purification:
Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
