Fluorescent confocal image of A549 cell stained with ZHX2 Antibody (N-term).A549 cells were fixed with 4% PFA (20 min), permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.1%, 10 min), then incubated with ZHX2 primary antibody (1:25). For secondary antibody, Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (green) was used (1:400).Cytoplasmic actin was counterstained with Alexa Fluor 555 (red) conjugated Phalloidin (7units/ml). Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue) (10 ug/ml, 10 min). ZHX2 immunoreactivity is localized to Nucleus significantly and Cytoplasm weakly.

Background:
The members of the zinc fingers and homeoboxes gene familyare nuclear homodimeric transcriptional repressors that interactwith the A subunit of nuclear factor-Y (NF-YA) and contain twoC2H2-type zinc fingers and five homeobox DNA-binding domains. Thisgene encodes member 2 of this gene family. In addition to forminghomodimers, this protein heterodimerizes with member 1 of the zincfingers and homeoboxes family.
