SARS-CoV-2 Pseudovirus Reagents

ProSci has developed SARS-CoV-2 pseudoviruses with a luciferase reporter, allowing researchers to quickly build their own neutralization and inhibitor interaction assays. Learn more about what a pseudovirus is on our blog.

These SARS-CoV-2 pseudoviruses have been engineered to lack the appropriate coding for the virus to replicate. The pseudovirus expresses the necessary proteins of the respective virus to allow for rigorous experimental studies but lacks the machinery to replicate. This makes pseudoviruses excellent research tools for labs operating under BSL-2 by offering an alternative to live-virus experimentation. Explore the list of SARS-CoV-2 pseudovirus research tools below!

NEW Pseudoviruses!

Get your hands on the new SARS-CoV-2 Omicron BQ.1.1 (Cat. No. 95-206) and XBB.1 (Cat. No. 95-207) variant pseudovirus and accelerate your research discoveries! These pseudoviruses effectively infect human ACE2 overexpressing cells and can be used to screen for inhibitors of Spike-ACE2 interaction, determine neutralizing antibody titers, and is a valuable tool for COVID-19 vaccine development as well.
